Pizza Al Forno – Booking Terms & Conditions
Professional mobile wood-fired pizza catering — Cannock, Staffordshire & surrounding areas

These Terms & Conditions apply to all catering services provided by Pizza Al Forno (“We / Us”).
The customer making the booking is referred to as (“You / The Client”).


1. Deposits & Payments

  • A £150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days before the event date.

  • Bookings made within 28 days require full payment at the time of booking.

  • Quotes are valid for 28 days from the date issued.

  • Payment plans may be available — please contact us to discuss.

  • Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and forms a binding contract.


2. Cancellations

If you cancel:

  • Deposit is non-refundable

  • Additional cancellation charges may apply:

    • 40% of the total if cancelled 8–4 weeks before the event

    • 75% if cancelled 4–2 weeks before the event

    • 100% if cancelled within 2 weeks

  • All cancellations must be made in writing (email accepted)

If we must cancel (very unlikely):

  • All payments, including deposit, will be refunded within 7 days

  • We will assist in helping you find alternative catering where possible


3. Travel & Location

  • Travel within 50 miles of Cannock is included.

  • Additional fees may apply beyond this radius.

  • Travel distance limits may apply depending on location and logistics.


4. Guest Numbers & Amendments

  • Final guest numbers must be confirmed 28 days before the event.

  • Catering for fewer guests will not reduce the fee.

  • Increases may be permitted subject to availability and additional cost.

  • Any changes must be confirmed in writing.


5. Venue Requirements

We require:

  • A flat space approx. 4m x 3m for our trailer (compact set-ups can be discussed)

  • Safe and unrestricted vehicle access (no low height barriers or narrow entry points)

  • A 240v power supply where possible (not essential)

Indoor service may be possible with prior approval from the venue.


6. Service Times

  • Standard serving duration is 2 hours, unless agreed otherwise.

  • We will arrive approx. 2 hours before service to set up.

  • External factors such as weather, traffic, or access issues may affect timings — we will communicate promptly if so.


7. Catering, Allergies & Food Safety

  • We operate under strict food hygiene standards and hold full Public Liability Insurance (certificate available on request).

  • We provide boxes/containers, plates, and napkins as standard.

  • It is the Client’s responsibility to inform guests about allergens and dietary concerns.

  • We cannot guarantee allergen-free products due to the presence of common allergens onsite.


8. Liability

  • The Client is responsible for any damage to our equipment caused by guests, venue staff, or unsuitable surfaces.

  • Our liability will not exceed the total paid for the booking, except where required by law due to injury caused by our negligence.


9. Waste

  • We remove waste generated inside our unit.

  • Event waste (including pizza boxes) is the Client’s responsibility unless agreed in writing beforehand.


10. Health & Safety – Hot Equipment

  • Ovens and cooking equipment operate at extremely high temperatures.

  • The Client must ensure children, pets, and guests keep a safe distance at all times.

  • A no-smoking zone must be maintained around our kitchen setup.

  • We may pause service if safety is at risk.


11. Force Majeure

We are not liable if prevented from providing services due to events outside our control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Fire, accident, vehicle breakdown

  • Illness, national emergencies, epidemics

  • Supplier failure, road closures, power failure

Where possible, we will offer a suitable alternative date or provide refunds for any services not delivered.


12. Food Safety & Allergy Disclaimer

While we take great care, we cannot guarantee food is free from trace allergens including:

  • Wheat / Gluten

  • Dairy

  • Nuts

  • Seeds and other regulated allergens
    Guests with severe allergies should consider the risk before consuming food.


13. Data & Contact

Personal data is used only for:

  • Managing your booking

  • Communicating about your event

  • Payment processing as required
