I’m Richard Giustiniani, founder of Pizza Al Forno. As my surname hints, great pizza is in my roots. My family comes from Larino in Molise, southern Italy — a place where food is family, and pizza is a way of life. My Nonna was well known locally for her incredible pizzas, and the love she put into cooking has inspired everything we do today.

A Home-Grown Family Business

Back in Staffordshire, I spent a full year experimenting with recipes and perfecting our dough — hosting many pizza parties for friends and neighbours until we achieved flavours we were truly proud of. That passion soon grew into Pizza Al Forno: a friendly, home-grown business run by myself and my wife, Kim, who works alongside me to bring our Italian family values to every event.

We use authentic Italian ingredients imported directly from Italy, paired with fresh local produce wherever possible — giving every pizza the perfect balance of quality, tradition and flavour. Each pizza is handcrafted on site and fired in our wood-burning oven for that smoky aroma and crisp Neapolitan-style base.

We cater for most dietary requirements too — including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free — so everyone can enjoy a slice of the celebration.

We proudly serve events across Staffordshire, the West Midlands, Derbyshire, Shrewsbury and surrounding areas — wherever the party is, our mobile pizza kitchen rolls in and fires up!
